wednesday... ian did not poo. he take so long to drink milk and spilt out some more. took so much of my time and yet i got to rush to finish up things before the taxi is here. i started to get impatient. i keep telling myself long before not to ruin the trip again. avoid quarrelling with papa.
we had kfc in klia. nothing much to see in domestic flight departure area. my name was being announce to get to the plane while we going to the washroom before we get to the plane. we are the last to get to the plane. we run and run. lucky that ian still get to nap in time before the plane take off.
we rented a waja. papa wanted to go to queensbay mall. but we don't get the direction to there. feed ian some rusk biscuits because we plan to feed ian porridge there. eventually we give up and go straight to check in to the hotel, the gurney hotel. feed ian at the lobby while papa check in and bring the luggage to the room.
we went to gurney plaza for a quick lunch - laksa shack and buy some mineral water. then we went back to the hotel and put ian to nap. we nap too. the air con is not really working and is not cooling. later, we bath ian. we bath too. finally someone came and chk the air con. eventually we get to move to another room. messy moving over and is late.
eventually we went out late. feed ian in the hotel before we go out. we had dinner at a hawker center - fried oyster and prawn mee. then, we shop at giant for things needed - drinks, junks, disposable bowls and spoon (papa plan to ta pau food to eat in the room. not easy to eat out with ian). we went to feringgi, papa's favourite for pirated dvds and cds. we went back late. but we let ian nap till quite late to prepare for late night sleep.
everything went well except for some... (don't want to spoil the rememberance of the trip). ian knock his head on the table corner when he fall while he walk around the room. it bleeds because it actually got cut. the cut is quite bad. we keep applying ice for him to reduce the swell but we can't do much about the cut. also ian did not poo at all. ian enjoy the car ride. sit with me infront. he slanted his head 90 degrees to look out when papa did a corner turn. funny boy
thursday... we plan to wake up early but not as early compare to singapore trip because in singapore papa got training. bit later than my normal wake up time to go for the complimentary breakfast. but ian woke up earlier than planned. so we have to change plan. we quickly get ready and go for breakfast. ian make noise while eating. refuse to eat much. lesser than in singapore. wonder is it due to he did not poo before breakfast (he did not poo at all yesterday). we quickly get back to the room. he want to sleep because he woke up early. we took a nap as well.
we woke up around noon. feed ian some milk as he did not eat much just now. go to kek lok si temple. the asam laksa stall there was open. so finally we knew that it opens around this time till evening. we hv been to penang 3 times before this and each time we tried but we can't get to taste it. this was ian's first trip to penagg and there we get a taste of it.
pay a quick visit to kek lok si temple. pray, walk around... is a sunny day. scare too hot for ian. especially the sunlight. besides, i have no energy to carry ian up the stairs. this little boy don't know why suddenly don't want to let papa carry him. hmm.. is like not from my hand. he will refuse. but like normal he is ok. naughty boy make papa feel sad only.
bought our biskut tambun and went back hotel to rest. bring ian for his first swim at swimming pool after the nap. poor thing. guess he must be real frighten. he pee few times and shiver. but the water is really cold plus the strong wind. we stay there for a while. did not put ian to the water for long. wrap him up wif towel and put him sitting at the side of the pool. i keep hugging him as i can feel he is shivering. that's ian's first swim.
we shower, feed ian and we head out for our dinner. very late. later than yesterday. don't know what to eat and we ended up had something from a food court. quite disappointed. not nice. went back to rest after that. that's our second day.
guess what happen? the first night, when ian move during his sleep, i try to pat him to avoid him from waking up but he did wake up. papa ask me to ignore him. so i really totally ignore him. suddenly, i heard papa wake up, jumping up from the bed. ian fell off from the bed. goodness. i dun even notice it. papa heard the fall and notice ian is missing from the bed and there is was on the floor. although the floor is carpetted but i bet it still painful but ian was ok. he continue to sleep.
friday... ian did not wake up early today. we wake him up, feed him some milk. try to let him poo. he did poo yesterday. so, is ok for not pooing in the morning. tried a while and when he refuse to, we dress up and go for breakfast. although he did not wake up early but he still make noise during breakfast. did not eat much. papa's sandals was broken. i went up to get some rubber band for papa. since ian refuse to eat and make noise we went back to our room and took a nap. naughty papa and mama. did not nap after ian nap. we watch tv instead. too interesting. by time it finish, is time to wake ian up and time to feed him and we need to get out for lunch.
guess what? the rented car's tyre puncture. is a special type of tyre. can't patch to repair have to change a new one. cost us rm 180. finally we went to peringin mall. papa wanted to go there to look at the pirated dvds. papa get a replacement for his broken sandals. don't know what to eat. ended up eating at wong kok kitchen. nothing special.
guess what? we found a pair of ian's first shoes (lost 1 side during singpore trip). we have been looking for the same pattern for replacement but so far no luck. although we found it but is only size 2. but at least we manage to see 1. bet we got to accept the fact that we can't get a replacement of the same pattern.
went for asam laksa at joo hooi with cendol. we have been having asam laksa here for our few trips as we did not get to taste the one at kek lok si temple. went back to hotel to rest. plan to bring ian for another swim after the nap but papa not feeling well. he is down with diarrhea. there goes our last day. staying in the room. but we did went out for a while as papa wanted to get 100 plus. papa stop to buy frm a 7-11 shop along the gurney drive. ian was so excited looking out from the car window at all the cars tat passes by. jumping up and down. went back. feed ian and papa rest with ian. while i try to pack whatever i can. i am so tired. pack till pass 12am. quickly jump to bed.
guess what happen? suddenly heard a loud bang. something fall off. guess what? the light at the dinning area fell off. it cause the room's electricity not functioning. papa called to complain and soon someone came to fix it. i am so tired. hardly get to sleep. papa is snoring but since he is not feeling well i do not wish to disturb him. now with the light falling. it wakes me and is so hard to get back to sleep. worst, around 4, 5 am the tenant next door are talking so loud. i really hardly get to sleep. yet we have to wake up early next day to get ready to go to the airport.
saturday... woke up early. again, did not have much breakfast as ian is make noise and refuse to eat. so we went back and start packing. took so long to pack and we are late from the plan time to leave the hotel. the way to the airport is not highway so it takes time. traffic lights, slow moving traffic. we are late. but lucky we still manage to check in. the drive from hotel to airport is long, so ian nap in the car. we bet he won't b able to nap in the plane. lucky he was ok throughout the flight. never make noise for his ear discomfort. finally we are home. so many things to do. unpack. house work. got to go shop for ian's food somemore. but i am too tired. i took a nap.
