vaccination...

these are some of the experience of each vaccination that i could recall.

  1. cried badly - needle detach. wasted some vaccine and inject twice
  2. doctor was late - ian wanted to nap. give tutu and bolster. he is ok. only cry a bit
  3. did not cry at all - give tutu and bolster. did not even know when it inject. only know when is done when doctor said so
  4. no more lying down. carry on my lap - with tutu. he is ok. only cry a bit

saturday... this round, ian shouted for pain. even his tutu fell off from his mouth. glad that his growth especially weight went back on track - normal. his height have been fine all the while.

we had breakfast with yee po after his vaccination. ian ate corn flakes instead of biscuits or bread (already had bread while waiting for doctor). ian have been a good boy. he let yee po carry him without making noise.

then we went to mid valley to buy ian's food. took us so long to get a parking. ian manage to take a 30 minutes nap. we had lunch at the gurney, the garden. we only find that the cendol is nice. ian the naughty boy make a scene there for not wanting to eat his porridge. mama make the scramble egg more chunky and this is how he behaves. ian wore his new baby kiko shoes. he still can't walk nicely. he tip toe when he walk at borders.

at night, we went to subang parade. we had dinner at kfc. nothing much happen. since ian had dinner late, he is still full when is time for his night feed before sleep. so, we give him milk instead of rice cereal.

ian had fever. 37.8 degree celsius. it has never been like this before. although it was not so bad the next day but still not back to normal.

reply from doctor for ian's nose bleed:
according to doctor, is common to have nose bleed. ian bleed during sleep probably he rub his nose unconciously and happen to be hard enough that cause bleeding.

doctor's advise if happen to see bleeding, do the following:

  1. put ian at sit up position - this will be able to tell how much blood flow out and can tell when it stops better
  2. pinch his nose (at the pinch position of the nose) for 5 minutes then stop and see whether it stop bleeding
  3. while pinching, put some ice on the nose, slightly above the pinching position (at bone part)
  4. if after pinch for 5 minutes it does not stop, pinch another 5 minutes and stop to see whether it stops. by right it should stop because this type of bleeding should not be long. if it doesn't, then need to send ian to doctor
