yes! he can do it! have faith and believe in him!

mama have been thinking this over and over again... have we being over protective? or too restrictive? or not giving him enough room for growth, learn and explore? hmm...

remember once poh poh commented "you still put him in the rattan chair? ah pok before he even turn 1 he already refuse to sit in that chair." (ah pok is a kid that once poh poh taken care since a baby). mama's reply was "have to put him there otherwise how to feed him? he can't sit still. he will run away." looking at now, ian already 2 years old. he still sit in that chair when we feed him.

to be honest, when mama reply that, she never actually tried feeding ian sitting just on the floor. just like any other kid that poh poh taken care. poh poh will just feed them where they just simply sit on the floor. no running.

yesterday during lunch, ian with his bad habit, wanted to poo in the middle of his feed. so, mama put him at the potty and let him do his business. after he has done, clean him up and suppose to let him finish up his lunch. mama have a thought. instead of putting him in the chair, why not try feed him by him sitting on the chair pad? to her surprise, it works! told papa about it and papa commented ian is moody. may be. that will be mama's luck as he willing to do so.

during dinner, mama tried again. it works again! can't help but took some shots...



so, let's have faith in him. believe in him. be more positive. let him try. you won't know if you don't try.

funny thing:
mama is having fun feeding ian not using the chair. so happy after finish feeding and start to clean up. then suddenly... she smell... she catch the smell when she keep the chair pad. but how come? gosh... ian poo. he sat on the chair pad just now. yes! he did. haiyo. don't even know when he poo. the main point is mama don't even smell it. she is too into feeding ian without the chair...
