kiwi...

before we get into the topic of kiwi, let's detour a bit...

felt that as ian grow older, really find that is getting harder to fulfil his needs. harder to keep him satisfied. he don't seems to satisfied with whatever is given. he wants more. ways that work on him before this no longer works...

  • we gave him eu yan sang's medicated powder for infant to toddler since before his full moon everyday after his morning bath. lately he strongly resists it. i can say that i totally fail to give it to him. yesterday morning, he kicks it off. he kicks my hand that is holding it and it slip from my hand. i was so angry, i beat his naughty leg. today i get papa to feed him. papa eventually need my help to hold him and force it into his mouth. hai...

  • ian is a big boy now, we can't keep him in his playpen. i put effort to make it possible for him to walk around the living and dining area. everyday, he will explore something new. reach for something new. our house is full of things that is not save for him. he tried to climb up the stairs after he manage to push away the chair i use to block it. while i manage to cater for that, he tried something new. he reach for food i covered on the dining table. he is tall enough to reach so many area. i pity him to keep him in his playpen but he really get to my nerve. make me run up and down like crazy woman to settle him. today, something new again. he reach for the phone wire. hai...

finally the kiwi story. we know that kiwi is a bit sour but i did taste it. not that bad actually. we already given to ian. but since he don't really like it. we stop for a while. but lately since he just caught a cold, i decided to give it to him. friend told me that kiwi helps to prevent cold. we bought a box of 8 kiwi. already gave him 1 (actually each time, only give him half) 2 weeks ago. yesterday he resist it till i totally give up. he only dirty the floor. he even spit it out even though i manage to put into his mouth. so angry, i beat him hard and ignore him.

at night ian played with my lipstick holder - actually is for my lip gross. he can really play with it for very long. very rare as he can never stick long with something. he started off with open and close. then open, take out the lip gross, put back and close. then, open, take out the lip gross, open the lip gross, close back, put back and close. till he eventually put into his mouth (everything will end up in his mouth) then we took it from him.

detour again? no.. this give me an idea. i let him play with it today while i feed him kiwi. hehe.. he finish them. he did resist at first and i have to force him. but i did not give up. he eventually willingly open his mouth. hehe..
