magic finger...

i start to give ian baked white potato yesterday. i have never tried baking one before and it amaze me. by what? it actually tasted naturally with a bit salty. i never know that potato comes with bit salty by itself. it seems to be a bit dry for ian so i added half oz of milk today. seems to fit ian better. ian don't really fancy milk so is another way of giving him milk. not much but better than nothing.

before i feed him the potato, i let him walk. i suddenly thought of taking out the musical winnie the pooh boat that my mum bought sometime ago for ian. he always throw, pull hard. that's why we keep it. otherwise he would have spoilt it long time ago. i take it out and let it move. ian walk following it. attempt to step on it. take it up. pull it when it goes under the table/chair. sometimes i help to pull it out and also to rescue it from ian destroying/throwing it. i try to let him sit on my lap (i am sitting on the floor) while watching the toy moving around. i found something funny throughout the session.

  1. he is holding his favourite toy (a knocking rattle - he likes to walk around with it while he shake it to create the knock knock sound) and the cup (i put the knocking rattle in the cup and somehow creates an idea to ian that they are a set. he always hold each with his hands) yet trying to pull/take the musical toy. note, without letting go what is on his hand. real funny boy. haha..

  2. i created the idea of him sitting on my lap while watching the toy moving around. however he surely can't sit for long. he will stand up, chase after the toy. attempt to pull/take it. step it. but on and off he will get back to me to get seated. the fun part is he walk backwards. signalling me that he wants to land his butt on my lap. haha..

after i feed him potato. i leave him to walk as is still early to let him nap while i go wash up. guess what happen? the little magic finger press on my server button and power off my server. haiyo.. actually he has been eying on that button long time ago. every time during his end of day walk he tend to walk towards it and attempt to press on it. guess is a dream come true for him today. i really have to think about how to secure it from the little magic finger. otherwise, i can never leave him walking alone...
