today, ian woke up without crying. lately he tend to cry when he wakes up from his nap. mama's guess, missing his "tutu". ya. we are trying to stop him from that. will talk more about this in a separate post later.
mama notice he is scratching his neck. it turns red. gosh.. so, mama apply some drapolene cream on it and ask him not to scratch anymore. then, he is there happily playing with his alphabet peg puzzle. mama notice that he scratch his neck again. mama just said, "ian stop scratching". he started a bit of his cry. we called it fake one because no tears. to please him so mama gave him the alphabet mat to play. he likes to destroy them (took out all the alphabet). mama only gave him 6 - a to f.
ian is holding his "a". mama read "a". then mama ask him where is the "b"? to her surprise he picks up the "b". is correct! then it goes till "f". wau! he knows his abc. let's try again... yes! is correct again! ok, one more time. this time the "c" is like far away. he really crawl over to pick it up. yay! ian knows his abc.
later mama try to test him. notice that he knew them in sequence. once mama jump he can't do it. actually mama can't be sure yet whether he really can't do it or he refuse to do it. when mama doesn't read in sequence. means not what he expected, he turn to look at her. if mama keep saying it, he even attempt to pull her mouth. showing sign to ask her to stop saying that.
talking about stop saying that. in some occasion that mama keep telling people (once is ee po, another is the cleaning lady) about how naughty he is, ian actually tried to cover mama's mouth or may be you can call it "pull" to stop her from saying it. haha..
[update: later at night, mama bring up the alphabet mat for ian to play upstairs. hope he will show papa what mama had witness. glad that he did it. actually in the evening mama try to get him to show seh ku but he refuse to do it. mama even went and called seh ku over our room to see it. so happy to see papa's happy smiling face. ian keep giggling each time when we clap and applause "clever boy!" when he completed them. we all have a great time last night...]
[update again: the next day, mama tried with the number mat. 0-5. cool! he manage to do it as well. later, mama try to be more adventurous. mix both a-f and 0-5. cool! ian manage to pick the a-f but not for the 0-5. but then 1 thing mama notice. he actually do recognize the shape. note that "4" and "A" actually in a glance looks similar. when mama called for "A" he picks up "4" but when he bring it closer for a look he put in down and pick "A". good job! later mama thinks ian gets a bit annoyed with the mixture and refuse to do anymore...]

cute here, cute there (2)...
some memories of our cute ian...
(a second post of it. too many cute things. hehe.. will keep 5 items in each post. so, here will record the next 5...)
sit with mama...
lately, ian will on and off come to mama while she is working (sitting in front of her laptop). he will try to climb onto the chair she is sitting. try to sit in front of her. mama will help him and let him sit there. he will sit there for a while and get back down to continue walking around. once, while mama busy discuss with her colleague through msn, ian try to climb up. she try to push him away but he insist. he win as mama give in. let him sit there. the little "kepoh" boy, also want to type for the msn. haiyo...
give me a kiss...
sometimes ian will place his face to our lips asking you to give him a kiss. haha.. so cute. seh ku said he did that to her as well. once, again he climb up to mama's chair while she is sitting there but not to sit in front. instead, he request to sit at a carry position (sit on mama's lap, hugging mama). he put his face to her lips asking for a kiss. and is a few times. before he eventually get down. sooo.. cute...

ian likes to throw his alphabet peg puzzle (actually he throws everything *sigh*). then while he walks around he tend to kick them here and there. he also likes to hold them (1 at a time) while he walks around. sometimes leaving them behind at places he been. so, after a while for those puzzle lying around, mama will put some effort to put them back. just in case after too long, she will have hard time looking for them since they are tiny. opps.. missing a "z". this is what happen while mama looking for it...
[mama]: ian, where is your "z"?
[ian]: (walking up and down. never bother - always have been like that...)
[mama]: (continue asking where is your "z" while looking for it...)
[ian]: (giggling away...)
[mama]: (continue looking...) why are you giggling? i am asking you where is your "z"? see your "z" is... (about to say missing while looking at the puzzle...)
to her surprise the "z" is there. so, now you know why the naughty boy is giggling about.
later, again while mama put them back and this time missing a "u". before mama even say a word, there comes ian running back with the "u" and put it back nicely to complete them. how sweet and cute, right?

mothers' day - weekend...
mama's 3rd mothers' day... is not that bad after all... really...
ah poh and ku ku came on friday to spend their weekend here. we manage to sneak some time to spend alone. only 3 of us. although they are only short ones but they are as good. they really gave mama a sweet mothers' day rememberance...
we went to mpsj field on saturday morning. ku ku and ah poh joined us. mama tried to give ian as much freedom but he sometimes try to go to some inappropriate area. eg, run into people where they are running, go to the fence etc. he sweat even more than papa who actually jog for 5 rounds around the track field.
we went to apollo for breakfast. ian had "chee cheong fan" and fish balls. we ta pau the fish balls to feed him later. went to ta ku's house to meet them. we are seeking their advise and idea for renovating our new house. we plan to go around houses there that had the original same design as ours next week to get more ideas before we decide on anything. hopefully we can get our house done and move in before the next cny.
we then bought some breads and head home. notice the missing part of buying ian's veggies? papa happen to go for a meeting on friday. he came home after that and he was early. so we went out to buy them on friday evening. take a rest and went to mid valley after ian's nap and shower. yes! shower! ian enjoys them very much. hehe.. we drop by to pay ee po a visit before we went to mid valley since she is not feeling well. hmm.. what's the story here? mr. bean animated series' music! that was ee po's sms tone. it really catches ian's attention. seh ku had it copied to her phone and she have to repeat it for ian. haha.. we all had fun too. looking at ian smilingly enjoys it.
we have some thong kei egg tarts while we did a quick shop at carrefour. ian had his 1st try of egg tart. yummy! he likes it just like mama do. hehe... then we had dinner at laminala. this round we let ian had his fried rice 1st before we top him up with his porridge. bravo! he really eat lots of them. we only need to top him up with very little of his porridge. mama ended up finish up his porridge when we get home. ian was eating slow as he needs to chew his rice. so, ah poh, ku ku and seh ku went off 1st. somehow, later this was our great time together...
almost miss this out... during our dinner, mama actually did not buckle ian up in his baby chair. actually mama lately did not really do that in almost all occasion. *ahem* can say that ian have been behave good. suddenly we notice that he has been buckled up. uhh! he actually did that on his own. haha.. then we witness he unbuckle and buckle a few times on his own before the buckle start to get a bit stubborn and play him out. he fail to unbuckle after he buckle himself. haha.. but is really cute watching him do it repeatedly...
while we walk over to the garden, we spotted an advert for phineas and ferb cartoon. ian watched them when he is still watching disney channel. now we switch him to playhouse disney channel. he happen to watch them again when he is admitted to sunway. when we saw that advert, mama said "what you doing?"... haha.. ian giggle. so cute... we repeated few times and each time he will giggle. then, mama felt like taking a shot of us. we stop by on our way and tada! this is the shot. consider not bad, right?
we just walk around. there is nothing much. when we are about to leave isetan, we spotted the thomas and friends toy train being displayed (moving). ian was so excited. he hold himself up in his stroller to get a better view. cute...
then we meet up with them and shop a little while at jusco before we head home. that's our saturday...
on sunday, we went to the park instead of mpsj field. mama let ian run around at the basket ball field 1st. later spotted that the futsal field was empty. bring ian in (is surrounded by fence). he ran a while and started to walk towards the door (wanted to go out) already. so mama bring him to the playground. let him play with the bouncer. not long, he then tried to come down on his own. then, walk towards the slide. yes, the slide! ian always like that. he actually tried made his own slide at home. how? he place the cushion chair, then the stool next to the cushion (single), where we use to put his car seat. he will climb from the cushion chair to the stool and finally to his car seat. just like a slide steps. then he will slide down from his car seat. gosh! wonder where he got that idea. but he no longer able to do that. we kept everything. only left the cushion...
since mama is alone, so mama wanted to let ian try doing it by himself. let him climb up on his own. get him to sit down when he is at the top of the slide and get him to push himself down while mama just watch by the side just in case. great! he did it by himself. later everyone joins in and we have some fun watching ian playing the slide. he wanted to be adventurous. so we let him do it. he crawl through the tunnel to the other slide and slide down from there. cool!
we went to pelita to have roti canai for breakfast. ian tried roti kosong this round while waiting for roti telur. yummy! he likes it. then we head home. papa drove ah poh and ku ku to pay ronnie, ah pek's little princess a visit. seh ku brought her work home to do, so she is in her room. mama had some time alone with ian before his his lunch time. he run around the house. then, mama thought of taking some shoots. tada! actually there are quite a number of nice ones but these are mama's favourite. more to ian looking cool in them.
papa get home just in time when mama giving ian a shower before his nap. we all took a nap. later woke ian up for his class. feed him some milk and we left for his class. this time, ian did better. of course compare to last week. but then last week he did quite bad. so, up to you how you want to grade it...
what ian learn this time? mostly new things...
learning alphabet "q" - how to write (on a laminated cardboard with letter "q" on a queen's head - little "q")
learn "q" for queen, quilt, quil, quiet - given a small piece of quilt to play. given a quil's feather to play
story telling - 5 little ducks. ducks quack. counting 5 ducks, 1 swim away, left 4 and so on...
learn quater - how to fold a square into quater. fold 4 quater to form a square. count the quater
art - made a queen's crown. this is the fun part. those kids are so fond of the crown. some wanted to wear it so much that they even wore it during the tumble tots session. haha.. but our ian, always refuse to put anything on his head. mama have to hold his hands to catch the following shoot (we saw people started taking photos, we took also. hehe..)

we enjoys the tumble tots session. why? there are few kids that were so funny. ian's "friends". we (the parents) giggle while watching them. haha..
remember the stick last week? mama start to worry when she spotted the other group playing with the stick. but not too bad. ian actually did some of the things when the instructor told him to. of course with mama's help. but definitely better than last week. at least no accident...
at the end of the session, they had a birthday song singing session for a little girl. they had a fake cake for the candles for the kids to blow. the little girl was given a balloon. later, they get the kids to collect a flower from the instructor to be given to their mummy. of course mama have to guide ian to get it. you guess what? instead of getting the flower, he detour and grab the little girl's balloon. lucky it did not burst. huh! ian showed his "geli" face after he touched the flower. haha.. later they ask the kids to give their mummy a hug and a kiss. ian did hug mama but no kiss. but is indeed sweet...
papa wanted to buy some curry puffs from uncle lim. while he queue for it. mama walk ian around. once mama let him free. he run like crazy. ohh.. no.. no more running. papa is done. there we go home. papa bought a roti bakar for ian. yummy! he enjoys it. we went home to pick up ah poh, ku ku and seh ku to have dinner at ta ku's house.
ohh.. ya. went we drop by at ta ku's house yesterday, ian as usual wanted to walk up and down the stairs. you guess what? he manage to walk up on his own. but he will make sure that mama is following him (he on and off turn to ensure that). so cute... so, he did that again on sunday. while papa bring ee po, ah poh, ta ku and su ean jie jie to the dvd shop, ian behave so well that mama have to jot it down. he can sit between seh ku and mama to watch tv. is actually so hot that we can see he is turning red but he still can sit quietly. of course with some movement but is really cool! later we went home...

out alone...
1st time mama went out with ian alone. actually mama recalled there was once but is back in melaka and is only going back to poh poh's house from ah poh's house. papa, the hero have lots of such experience. eventually, here comes mama's 1st experience...
yesterday, amanah saham wawasan 2020 launch new units. papa had a meeting at putrajaya. so, we are thinking to try our luck. mama will go alone with ian. we get all the fund prepared in mama's rhb account, get and filled up all the necessary form. everything ready so that will be easier for mama since need to handle ian alone.
papa left home 7.30. woke ian up a bit earlier, before 8. so happen that danny and daddy was aired at 8. ian was so happy. have been long since the last time he gets to watch it. disney channel keep changing their program time until we don't know when it was aired. (later in the evening, mama found few episodes posted in youtube. hehe.. ian enojys them. will get papa to download them. mama had 1 episode recorded in her hand phone. hehe..) get everything ready and we left slightly pass 8.30. we drop seh ku for work and there we go to taipan...
as we drive through looking for parking, you really can't believe your eyes! the queue is already up to the corner shop! mama made up her mind. we shall just buy bread for papa from baker's cottage (papa's throat not feeling well) and then go home. mama reward ian by buying an extra kaya bread for him. the other day mama feed him and he loves it.
but still we need to look for parking. saw some parking but is a bit far so plan to turn to look for others. when we pass by maybank, gosh! also pack with people. here even worst. they don't even queue! no luck. have to take the bit far parking. oppss! no more. we ended up park at the water hydrant (illegal) and did a quick shop and left. lucky no "saman". hehe..
although we did not get to do what we intend to. but it was definitely a good outing alone with ian. ian behave well. no problem in the car, neither while mama buy bread. thanks, ian...

cute here, cute there...
some memories of our cute ian...
(can't exactly recall when it happen but would like to jot down before the memories fade off...)

drink water...
one day don't know what driven ian. he keep coming to grab his water bottle on his own to drink. he repeatedly did it many times. so happy.. happy as he wants to drink water. every time mama will have to make him drink. happy as he drink on his own. so cute..
eating rice cracker...
once ian breaks the cracker into 2. then he started eating. guess how he eat? he hold 1 piece at each hand. he then bite a mouth from each. hehe..
next encounter is.. again he breaks into 2. then he stack them together and eat them together like a burger. hehe.. cute, rite?
kiss...
that day when we are having writing session with ian. we have been playing writing with ian every evening on weekdays lately. mama was sitting beside ian. he suddenly turn and gave mama a "kiss" on the cheek. he did it more than once. actually before this, mama notice he did attempt to do it. there was once he even "kiss" mama on the lips. it happen when mama let him poo on his potty. he turn over and as mama was sitting higher than him, guess that's why he reach for the lips.
that day, ian gave his kiss to papa while papa carrying him. papa wipe off his saliva. papa, remember don't do that again ok? it will hurt ian's little heart one, ok?
i told papa that ian also push his cheek to mama's lips, asking mama to "kiss" him. as usual ian don't seems to do it while papa is watching. but then finally papa saw it. he did it so many times. even hold mama's head to press on his cheek. cute little boy...

ian is hot on this lately... when he play with his abc peg puzzle he will request us to say the letter when he pick one up. if you keep silent he will stare at you. if you did not notice it, he will grab your mouth with his hand, signalling you to "say it!". so you know why we got the idea of getting the alphabet bus. remember the doodle pro we bought together with the alphabet bus? it comes with some stamps of different shapes. he also expect us to say the shapes when he pick them up. cute! hehe..

mama was wearing a shirt with the word "sport". we were in the passenger seat while papa is driving. ian was touching the word. mama goes "s-p-o-r-t, sport", pointing at them while reading them. ian bring mama's hand to the word, signalling mama to do it again. it happen twice. then papa commented that, "ian, you could also do it yourself". "do it" as in "point it". then mama hold ian's finger to point them. there goes ian pointing at them while mama read them. haha.. at the end mama commented "you think mama is your elmo ah?" haha.. mama really feel like she is. the way ian point is like he is pressing the the alphabet on the alphabet bus. at the end he so geram and grab them while showing his "geram" face. sooo... cute...

one day don't know what driven ian. he keep coming to grab his water bottle on his own to drink. he repeatedly did it many times. so happy.. happy as he wants to drink water. every time mama will have to make him drink. happy as he drink on his own. so cute..
once ian breaks the cracker into 2. then he started eating. guess how he eat? he hold 1 piece at each hand. he then bite a mouth from each. hehe..
next encounter is.. again he breaks into 2. then he stack them together and eat them together like a burger. hehe.. cute, rite?
that day when we are having writing session with ian. we have been playing writing with ian every evening on weekdays lately. mama was sitting beside ian. he suddenly turn and gave mama a "kiss" on the cheek. he did it more than once. actually before this, mama notice he did attempt to do it. there was once he even "kiss" mama on the lips. it happen when mama let him poo on his potty. he turn over and as mama was sitting higher than him, guess that's why he reach for the lips.
that day, ian gave his kiss to papa while papa carrying him. papa wipe off his saliva. papa, remember don't do that again ok? it will hurt ian's little heart one, ok?
i told papa that ian also push his cheek to mama's lips, asking mama to "kiss" him. as usual ian don't seems to do it while papa is watching. but then finally papa saw it. he did it so many times. even hold mama's head to press on his cheek. cute little boy...

self feeding...
have been started to play bowl, spoon and cup with ian since this monday. instead of reading him books, which he already find it boring. will hold his hand to hold the spoon with his another hand holding the bowl. it goes.. "stir, stir, stir, scope, amm...". later follow by drinking water from his cup. just a little bit of water.
yesterday, ian had grapes. mama thought of it. so, let him had the feel of really eat something (self feed with guide). put a piece of grape on the spoon and place it in the bowl. then hold his hand to hold the spoon with his another hand holding the bowl. feed the grape into his mouth. mama start off with few spoon then let him initiate later on. which means, mama only hold his hand to make sure the spoon is in possible. action of putting into this mouth will be by him.
today, eating grapes again. mama tried to go more from yesterday. leaving the spoon with the grape in the bowl. hold one of his hand to hold the bowl and let him initiate to grap the spoon. he did! yay! but the spoon ought to be out of position. mama have to fix it.
there are some fun scene of it. ian is too rough. he attempt to grap the spoon to hard till the grape flew away. once it drop off to the floor. another time which the fun part, it flew up and drop back down to the bowl. isn't it fun? haha..

lucky number 102...
on friday, mama attended her company's annual dinner held at live & bar, subang jaya. papa came back early to send mama there. papa brought ian and seh ku to sunway pyramid while waiting for mama. will pick up mama at 10pm. by this time mama for sure would have gotten her 5 years service award (a watch). definitely the dinner will not end by 10pm but set to the max at this time. if mama got her lucky draw before this time, we shall head home earlier.
almost 10pm. mama have yet to get anything. number 100 and 2 had been called but not 102. mama's colleague commented that the system pick mostly small numbers. 3 digit numbers have lower chance. mama was one of the early ones to reach but she picked number 102. gosh.. what a luck she thought. so, mama pass her number to her manager and left.
papa bought a puzzle from popular book store in sunway pyramid for ian. seh ku took some photos of some puzzle that she saw in popular. they are cool. also not expensive as compare to those we just bought that day.
there we were back at home. mama busy packing after feeding ian milk. is almost 12am. so tired and sleepy. suddenly papa told mama that someone called. also received a sms from colleague saying mama got a phone. mama return the call (mama's manager). yupe. mama got a nokia phone. happen that mama's colleague will be visiting melaka on sunday so mama get her manager to pass the phone to the colleague. since we plan to meet them up in melaka.
on sunday, at first we plan to meet up for "thong sui" in the evening but mama's colleague couldn't make it in time. so, we went and meet them at the stadthuys (aka red house). they see ian for the first time. usual comment - "ian is cute..", "ian looks like mix blood due to his brownish hair..", "ian looks like papa.." - the last one kind of disappointing for mama. is really hot. poor ian. we have to wait for mama's colleague to get the phone from his car. lucky it was windy.
is a nokia 5800 xpress music phone! well mama not fancy of phone. instead, ku ku and papa are more excited. they explore the phone. cool! fun seeing them so excited. hehe.. seh ku checked and said it is definitely a more expensive phone than our n73. fine, feel better. a better phone, see. but still mama won't use it. is for papa. bet this is the best lucky draw from uc mama got. still remember how much mama wanted to get a phone for papa before ian was born (pregnant with ian). at that time we are planning to get a new phone with camera so that can take photo of ian easily. also a 3g phone so that papa can see ian as and when. that's how we eventually got our n73. finally got a phone although is a bit off timing. late better than never. glad and happy watching papa having fun exploring the phone. "smile from the heart"...

a change for the weekend...
every weekend have been a rushy one, grumpy one, etc. mama tried for a change last week and it seems to look ok but last week was a tiring one due to the chicken and fish. continue to the same for the weekend.
1. try to put everything needed for ian's porridge to be steamed at night instead of doing it in the morning. -> this will give more time to the morning for other stuff
2. sweep the hall area on friday night instead for doing it on saturday.
3. sweep the dry kitchen area on saturday morning after preparing ian's porridge and breakfast.
4. prepare whatever ian's food available for next week on friday night. -> this will only leave whatever newly bought during the weekend shopping to be prepared
5. wake up slightly earlier in the morning.
with the above change, we manage to go to park on both saturday and sunday morning. ian really likes it. good for papa as well. mama get to do her yoga but got to sacrifice her afternoon nap because need to prepare ian's porridge for the next day while ian nap (this will allow mama to finish up work earlier at night).

papa suggest to boil barley for ian for saturday. he seems to drink a lot of water after the walk at park. it works. on sunday, mama even manage to boil chrysanthemum for ian. with some extra time left, even can help papa to hang clothes before waking ian and papa up to get ready to go to the park.
sunday we even go jalan-jalan to return ta ku's tupperware to her and also bring ee po's stuff that she bought that day that she forgotten to bring after shopping with us.
what a relax weekend. good for a change. live for a better, relax life.
hiccups on saturday was ian vomited while drinking his milk in the morning. quite a lot. don't know what happen to him. suspect that he might have drink too fast. he usually don't suck. lazy boy. let the milk flow in itself (mama made a big hole). but he suck this time. mama even say his is a good boy. but too bad he vomited. lucky he looks fine later.

bits and pieces...
bits and pieces to be remembered...
["ta da" with mama...]
ian was having fun playing with mama while mama preparing to cook his porridge at the dry kitchen. he is there waiting at the safety gate. mama will jump out (let he see me) shouting "ta da". he is so happy, laughing and running away as though mama is going to chase him. that's his style. when he is happy he will run around screaming, laughing. seh video some part of it. cute to watch it. he will run back to the gate again and there it goes repeating the process...

while feeding ian, mama try to play with him. we have been playing counting fingers (open up) from 1 to 5. out of the blue, mama just thought of playing count down, 5 to 0 (closing). each time when it reaches "0" ian will laugh. he seems to like it. the fun part was suddenly while he is walking around playing on his own, he walk to me, pull my hand and start to make me count down. haha.. so mama just entertain him. too bad that he doesn't seems to have enough of it. mama told him i have to work. cannot work with only 1 hand. but he refuse and make noise. i was stun. don't know what to feel about it. funny? hmm...

happy birthday, papa...
yesterday (sunday) was papa's birthday. we went for hi-tea lunch at sun & surf, sunway hotel. was pack with people because it happen that there are some function held. a rushy lunch as we actually try to beat the time for ah poh and ku ku has an appointment at 3pm. heavy rain when we are having our lunch. is still raining but not as heavy when we leaving.
ian, the naughty boy poo. since the changing area is in ladies room so seh ku help mama to change ian. on saturday, we have buffet steamboat for lunch at yuen. ian poo in the morning so he did not poo after lunch. yesterday he only poo a bit in the morning and he ended up poo after lunch.
it have been an eventful weekend due to ah poh and ku ku visit. they are here on thursday - ku ku's birthday. papa was off that day. we went to ta ku's house for dinner. ian was quite ok that day. on friday, papa have to attend a meeting in the morning. he only came home in the afternoon. we had lunch at ah koong and went for a quick shop at jusco, sunway piramid. at night, we went to ta ku's house for dinner. there is a tea ceremony for ah pek - he had his wedding registration recently. we dress ian nicely. actually already tried to take into the possibility of ian getting warm in dressing him. however ian still feel so uncomfortable and make so much noise. he misbehave. mama grade him badly.
we went to mid valley for a quick shop as usual after our steamboat lunch. at night, ku ku buy us bak kut teh for dinner as ku ku just get promoted. let ian wear singlet due to the hot weather. he still make noise but since is a short while so is still ok.
that's all for the weekend. ended with sunday, papa's birthday but due to the eventful weekend, we are all exhausted. so sad that we did not have a cake for papa. but never mind papa, here we sing you a birthday song and wish that all your dreams will come true.

run away...
guess what happen today? usually after ian's lunch i will turn on his vcd/dvd for him to watch. first he will watch sitting on his car seat. why car seat? refer to my older post. then i will put him in his cage to watch. (the cage where he climb and fell off) let him exercise a bit. he likes to run up and down. turning in circle when he gets excited watching his vcd/dvd. while i do my work.
he gave me a shock when he appear in front of me. as i mention in my older post he found the trick to pull off the wall we use to cage him up. but usually it will alert me as he will surely create some noise. this time he actually manage to pull off only 1 side leaving the other side still attached. therefore, no noise created. he quietly walk away and appear in front of me. i was shock. quickly put him back in the cage and attached back the wall. i burst into laugh and called papa to tell him what happen. i can't help laughing. haha.. isn't it cute and funny? but then lucky that he did not do something bad that could hurt him. must really be more careful and alert in the future.

25th june...
ian will be 15 months old today. it is also my birthday. we usually let ian wear new clothing (if we happen to have bought some that fit at that time - so far since full moon, every 25th of the month we did have. but probably this will be the last...). we will make sure we catch some nice shot of him - wearing new clothes - also mark his growth by a month. i actually keep a series of photos taken on 25th each month in flickr.

everything went smoothly for the whole day - definitely there are some hiccups. until this naughty boy poo at his diaper. follow by took almost 1 hour to eat his apple and is only 1/8 of an apple. he even refuse to bite like usually what he did. i got to peel into small pieces and put into his mouth. yet he spit out some on the floor. naughty boy. 1 poo at diaper not enough, he poo another time at diaper. but this round could be emergency.. you know.. the first i actually notice some sign and i ask him. he just ignore me and continue to play that's why i did not bother till i for sure heard the sound... is just these. over all still a smooth day. especially i am glad and happy with his milk feed and nap. these are always my headache. nap especially on wednesday as the cleaner lady will come and timing is out of my control.
guess what's ian's new discovery? he found the trick to pull off the wall we use to cage him up. i catch him few times pulling it off and trying to escape quietly... i took few shots of him attempt to do it.

papa asked for leaving from work earlier. he reach home around 7 and we went out for dinner. actually i ate as i cook in the morning for 2 meals. besides, papa can't be sure that he will be back early. simple celebration - dinner at secret recipe and bought some cakes. my choice of cake - pandan layer cake from berry's. birthday song, make a wish, blow candle... we did it after ian's night feed.

i told papa last year that i miss my 1st birthday celebration with ian. that time ian was only 3 months and we are still trying hard to get adjusted with our new life. 1st is always more special but too bad that i had missed that out. we did a simple celebration for papa's 1st birthday with ian last year back in melaka. this is one of the shots we took. ian was only 7 months plus.

everything went smoothly for the whole day - definitely there are some hiccups. until this naughty boy poo at his diaper. follow by took almost 1 hour to eat his apple and is only 1/8 of an apple. he even refuse to bite like usually what he did. i got to peel into small pieces and put into his mouth. yet he spit out some on the floor. naughty boy. 1 poo at diaper not enough, he poo another time at diaper. but this round could be emergency.. you know.. the first i actually notice some sign and i ask him. he just ignore me and continue to play that's why i did not bother till i for sure heard the sound... is just these. over all still a smooth day. especially i am glad and happy with his milk feed and nap. these are always my headache. nap especially on wednesday as the cleaner lady will come and timing is out of my control.
guess what's ian's new discovery? he found the trick to pull off the wall we use to cage him up. i catch him few times pulling it off and trying to escape quietly... i took few shots of him attempt to do it.

papa asked for leaving from work earlier. he reach home around 7 and we went out for dinner. actually i ate as i cook in the morning for 2 meals. besides, papa can't be sure that he will be back early. simple celebration - dinner at secret recipe and bought some cakes. my choice of cake - pandan layer cake from berry's. birthday song, make a wish, blow candle... we did it after ian's night feed.

i told papa last year that i miss my 1st birthday celebration with ian. that time ian was only 3 months and we are still trying hard to get adjusted with our new life. 1st is always more special but too bad that i had missed that out. we did a simple celebration for papa's 1st birthday with ian last year back in melaka. this is one of the shots we took. ian was only 7 months plus.

eventful saturday...
we found that nowadays, ian don't seems to really nap in the morning. if he gets tired and wanted a nap, he will probably nap around 10 something. so, we change or plan on saturday. instead of shop after lunch, we shop in the morning.
around 10 something we start our journey. ian will usually fall asleep in the car when we travel. he sometimes only fall asleep when we almost reach our destination. this is the case this time. he sometimes will wake up just when the car's engine switched off. again, this is the case. so, he only get to nap less than 10 minutes.
we tried to put him with all he needed in his stroller hoping he will get to nap. too bad it does not happen. we did a quick shop for things needed. quickly we drive off to our next destination for lunch. is ian's lunch time. we have lunch at outback steakhouse, bangsar (to celebrate fathers' day as last week we are back to melaka). it surprise us when they place a toy in front of ian after we put ian on the baby chair and nicely push him to the table. ian have fun with the toy. while we have fun taking photo of him, concentrating on the toy. haha..

after lunch we head home. ian did not nap in the morning he will need to get a nap soon. this little boy if he nap in the car and you carry him into the house he will wake up and there he won't be able to continue to nap. kind of break his nap. so, we did not put him at the car seat as usual. we let him stand up or sit at my lap to look out the window. look at cars, buildings etc. guess what? he fall asleep while sitting, standing and even playing with stuff. look at the sleepy eyes.. i still syok, taking photos. papa complain that i am cruel :p ian ended up nap at my arms.

i carry him to the bed. he did open his eyes as usual (sense the different) but close back to continue to sleep. he must be real tired. poor thing. never change his diaper, never change his clothes. just let him continue with his sleep. papa and me also took a short nap with ian to recharge.
after recharged, while getting ready for things for our next event, ian was having fun with papa. watching papa playing games using his laptop. a shot of them...

all of us took our shower and head off to our next event. buffet dinner at crown princess hotel (to celebrate my coming birthday). while papa getting food, before i start to feed ian, i try to take photo for ian. so hard to take photo for him. guess how i took these photos?
(hehe.. i took a fork to attract him and hold it beside the camera :p)
ian got to see fireworks. we sit near the window. not really nice view but is at a corner - good that less people walk around - bad as, even no people come to serve :p. almost time - ian make noise. we need to go home. that's the end of our eventful saturday. but then mama manage to catch a photo of 3 of us. not too clear but is good to have :)

the tired little boy snooze off not long after we put him to bed. poor mama still got tones of things to do even my eyes already half shut... tiring but is always happy to spend it happily with 3 of us... shall look forward for more... (errmm... don't get the wrong idea... more of the happy time spend together not the eating... :p - happen that the whole day's event is more to eating :p)
(wish to have more but sometimes body just can't take too much of it. getting old and get tired easily... how sad...)
